Extract action items from WhatsApp — who said they’d do what, by when — in a format you can paste into Asana, Jira, or your next email.
Owner and deadline detection. Multiple output formats. No more “I’ll do it” lost in the thread.

What you get
Pick the format that fits your workflow.
Task format outputs
We structure action items so you can drop them where you work.
- •Asana-style list — task title, assignee, due date, and optional description.
- •Jira-ready bullets — short title, owner, and “by [date]” when stated.
- •Email follow-up draft — a short paragraph or bullet list you can paste into your next “here’s what we agreed” email.
Owner and deadline detection rules
We infer who owns what and when it’s due from the way people write.
- •Owner: “I’ll send the deck” → you; “Can you review by Friday?” → the person asked. We use speaker and reply context.
- •Deadline: “by Friday”, “next week”, “EOD” — we surface these when clearly stated. Ambiguous dates stay as “TBD” or “mentioned but unclear.”

Use cases
Meeting follow-up — turn “we agreed to…” into a shared task list
Client comms — capture commitments and due dates from threads
Team stand-ups — one place for “who’s doing what by when”
Personal — never forget “I said I’d send that” again
Frequently asked questions
You get a structured list (task, owner, deadline) in the analysis output. Copy-paste it into any checklist app — Notion, Todoist, Asana, or a doc. We don’t have a direct “export to Asana” button yet; the text is formatted so you can paste and go.
We use who said what: “I’ll send the deck” → that person owns it. “Can you review by Friday?” → the person being asked. In groups, we use speaker names and reply context. If it’s ambiguous (e.g. “someone should…”), we may label it “Unassigned” or leave owner blank.
We only add a deadline when it’s clearly stated (“by Friday”, “next week”, “EOD”). Otherwise we leave it as “—” or “TBD.” You can add a Custom Prompt like “assume all open items are due in 7 days unless stated otherwise” if you want a default.
Yes. Voice notes in your export are transcribed and merged into the timeline before we extract action items. So “I’ll do it by Tuesday” in a voice note is treated like text.
We don’t store your raw chat. Parsing happens in your browser. Only the text (and voice note audio you choose to send) is used for analysis. See our Privacy Policy.
Yes. Use Custom Prompt and ask for exactly that: e.g. “List action items as bullet points: [Owner] - [Task] - [Due date or TBD]. No extra prose.” The Meeting Recap goal already gives a structured action list; Custom gives you full control over format.
