By accessing or using ThreadRecap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

ThreadRecap is a chat analysis tool that helps you understand your WhatsApp conversations through AI-powered insights. The service includes:

• Parsing and processing of WhatsApp chat exports
• AI-generated analysis and summaries of conversations
• Audio message transcription, including voice notes and videos converted to audio (requires credits)
• Group Awards — fun, AI-generated awards for group chat participants
• Various analysis goals and customization options
• AI Chat — ask follow-up questions about your analysis results in a conversational interface
• Third-party integrations (Notion, Google Calendar, Trello) — export analysis results to your favorite tools

When using ThreadRecap, you agree to:

• Only upload conversations where you are a participant or have explicit consent from all participants
• Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the service
• Not use the service to analyze content that violates any laws or regulations
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

ThreadRecap allows you to connect third-party services to export and sync your analysis results. When using integrations:

• You authorize ThreadRecap to connect to third-party services via OAuth on your behalf
• Data exported to third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies
• You may disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings
• We are not responsible for how third-party services handle your exported data

OAuth tokens for connected services are stored encrypted and are deleted immediately when you disconnect an integration.

ThreadRecap uses a credit-based system for certain features:

• Credits are purchased in advance and do not expire
• Credit costs are displayed before any operation that requires them
• New accounts receive welcome credits at our discretion
• All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by law
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

Welcome credits and promotional credits are provided at our discretion and may be modified at any time.

The ThreadRecap service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by ThreadRecap and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your chat content. We do not claim any ownership over the conversations you analyze. The analysis results generated by our AI are provided for your personal use.

ThreadRecap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind:

• AI-generated analyses and chat responses are for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or professional advice
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis or AI chat response
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on our analysis results
• Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreadRecap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
