What this page does, and what it does not

The files are yours, with no strings

Text, web page and PDF, all three, at no cost and with no sign-up. The foot of each one names the tool that made it, and nothing is stamped across your messages.

It measures. It does not read.

Here the conversation is counted, not read. The paid analysis writes out the voice messages and the speech in videos, each one where it was sent.

No, it is not. The .zip is opened by your own browser and the counting happens on your machine. The only thing this page reports back is a rough size band, never a name, a filename, or a word of what was said.

Open the chat, tap the name at the top — in a group, the three dots at the top right — then Export chat, then Attach Media. WhatsApp does not, by itself, save the .zip to your phone or mail it to you: it hands the file to the sharing panel once, and the file only exists where you send it from there. Yes. Exports of tens of thousands of messages are read here routinely. On a phone a very large .zip with media is heavier, so if the tab struggles, try it on a computer.

Not here. This page counts them and names where each one sat in the conversation, so the file you download stays honest about what is missing. Writing them out is the paid analysis.
